Memberships are for one year and applications will be accepted in November. All R/Sea Hawks members must be members of the AMA and the AMA card must be valid until 31 December of that year. Actual Cape Coral R/SeaHawks membership does not begin until 1 January of the next year, in this case, 1 January, 2019.
Per request from many members, Cape Coral R/SeaHawks has implemented the use of credit card payments on line. It is still a new venture and there still might be some bugs to work out. Remember, you do not have to be a member of Paypal to pay online. You can either enter your credit card information online or swipe your credit card with the card reader when available.
Complete the application and include your payment if paying with check or money order and a self addressed stamped envelope (SASE). Once your application is verified for your AMA number and expiration date, your membership card (required to fly at Cape Coral R/SeaHawks flying field) will be mailed to you in your SASE. (Please, do not send cash by mail.)
If paying online with your credit card, you must still send in your application and a SASE to the treasurer by snail mail.
Regardless of how you pay, you will be mailed your R/SeaHawks membership card only after verification on AMA of your name and the expiration date to confirm that it does not end until 31 December.
Payments will be accepted at the General meetings to include: Cash, Check, Money Order or Credit Card. Please arrive early, about 30 to 40 minutes before the meeting starts, if you wish to pay then. No payments accepted after the meeting.
Please Note: Some of you in the past have paid the prior treasurer at the Cape Coral R/SeaHawks flying field. I will also accept your completed application and payment at the flying field. I will give you your membership there as well but only after I have validated your name and expiration date of 31 December with AMA, and that may take a couple of days.
